Keyano College Library

Keyano College is a comprehensive community college, located on Treaty No. 8 Territory, serving north-eastern Alberta. The College was originally established as an Alberta Vocational Centre in 1965 to address the local training needs of the rapidly expanding oil sands industry. Since then, Keyano has grown into a modern College with three campuses and four regional learning centres serving over 2,250 students annually. The Library supports the information needs and activities of students, staff, and faculty though its services as well as print and electronic collections, including books, periodicals, databases, and videos.

Keyano College is located 437 kilometres north-east of Edmonton. When heading north on Hwy 63 take the exit which has a sign saying “Keyano College.” At the roundabout take the King Street exit and watch for the large purple building which is the student residence, just past the Composite High School. There is a parking lot off King Street, or continue to Franklin Avenue, turn right, and then turn right again at the sign saying Bob Lamb Building. Pay parking is in effect at all times in both lots. The Library is in the main building, across the hall from the Office of the Registrar.
